Ingredients
- 150 g softened butter
- 450 g all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). In a mixing bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in sugar.
- In another bowl, beat eggs with milk and gradually mix into dry ingredients. Knead lightly until you form a soft dough; add more flour if sticky.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 2 cm thick and cut out discs using a cookie cutter.
- Place the discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with butter, jam, or honey.
