  • 3/4 cup toffee bits
  • For glaze: 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons extra toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Cream softened butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
  2. Mix in vanilla extract, then gradually add flour and salt until combined.
  3. Fold in the toffee bits evenly.
  4. Divide dough into two logs, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice chilled dough into 1/4-inch rounds.
  6. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Cool on wire racks before glazing with melted butter mixed with powdered sugar and milk.
