Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix in melted butter until well combined, then add sugar.
- Stir in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- If using nuts, gently fold them into the batter.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and tap lightly on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
