- 1 1/3 cup whole milk
- 4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, room temp
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup icing sugar
Instructions
- Warm the milk in a saucepan until just warm; sprinkle yeast and let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, eggs, salt, and softened butter. Add the yeast mixture and mix until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth; let it rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle (16×24 inches), spread the filling evenly on top.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces; arrange in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the frosting, whip together cream cheese, unsalted butter, heavy cream, and icing sugar until smooth; spread generously over warm rolls.
