  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup cooked crumbled turkey bacon
  • ½ cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms, diced green bell pepper, and diced onion for 5-7 minutes until tender. Stir in crumbled turkey bacon; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Place seared chicken in a baking dish; top with the sautéed vegetable mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and drizzle ranch dressing on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly.
