Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup cooked crumbled turkey bacon
- ½ cup ranch dressing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms, diced green bell pepper, and diced onion for 5-7 minutes until tender. Stir in crumbled turkey bacon; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Place seared chicken in a baking dish; top with the sautéed vegetable mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and drizzle ranch dressing on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly.
