- 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients as per package instructions)
- 3 cups strawberry pie filling (about 1½ (21-ounce) cans)
- 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
- 2 cups strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix in a 9×13-inch pan according to package directions and let cool completely.
- Use a thin wooden spoon handle to poke holes in the cooled cake, spaced about one inch apart.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling over the cake, pressing gently into the holes.
- Top with thawed whipped topping and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Just before serving, arrange sliced strawberries on top.
