- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries with brown sugar and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared dish. Spread the strawberry filling evenly over this layer and sprinkle the remaining crumble on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling completely before slicing.
