Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and zest into the creamed mixture.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk alternately until combined. Fold in chopped strawberries gently.
  6. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pans for ten minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
