Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely diced
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, gently fold together fresh crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, and egg until just combined.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, green onions, bell pepper, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into small patties (2-3 inches wide) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer fried patties back to the baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes.
