  • 17.5 ounce package chocolate chip cookie mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 24 Oreos
  • 16 ounces (2 8-ounce pkgs) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ⅓ cups rough chopped Oreos (divided)
  • Caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate chip cookie mix, softened butter, and one egg, then beat until smooth.
  3. Press the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Layer whole Oreos on top of the cookie base.
  5. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and cornstarch until fluffy. Mix in sour cream and eggs until smooth.
  6. Fold in chopped Oreos before spreading the cheesecake mixture over the Oreos.
  7. Sprinkle remaining chopped Oreos on top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set (around 150°F/65°C). Let cool completely on a wire rack before refrigerating for at least three hours.
