- 2 lbs beef sirloin strips
- 3 large colorful bell peppers
- 1 large onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch (or flour)
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine hot beef broth and crushed bouillon cubes.
- Add soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, black pepper, salt, and cornstarch/flour. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
- Place beef strips into the slow cooker.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the beef evenly.
- Add sliced bell peppers, onions, and garlic on top of the beef.
- Set your slow cooker to LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours. Stir halfway through cooking if possible.
- Once done cooking, stir well before transferring to a serving dish. Serve hot over rice or noodles or as a side with mashed or baked potatoes.
