Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef sirloin strips
  • 3 large colorful bell peppers
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (or flour)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine hot beef broth and crushed bouillon cubes.
  2. Add soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, black pepper, salt, and cornstarch/flour. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
  3. Place beef strips into the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef evenly.
  5. Add sliced bell peppers, onions, and garlic on top of the beef.
  6. Set your slow cooker to LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours. Stir halfway through cooking if possible.
  7. Once done cooking, stir well before transferring to a serving dish. Serve hot over rice or noodles or as a side with mashed or baked potatoes.
