- 2 cans (6 oz each) salmon, drained and flaked
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, or mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon honey, optional
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties (about 2-3 inches in diameter) and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- For the creamy lemon-garlic sauce, whisk together Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, honey (if using), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve the patties drizzled with sauce or on the side for dipping.
