  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, or mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ teaspoon honey, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties (about 2-3 inches in diameter) and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. For the creamy lemon-garlic sauce, whisk together Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, honey (if using), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Serve the patties drizzled with sauce or on the side for dipping.
