Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by dissolving yeast in warm milk and letting it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). In a large bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the filling by mixing diced peaches with brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the peach filling evenly over the dough, roll tightly from one end to another, and cut into 12 equal slices. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the frosting by beating together cream cheese and softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once baked, drizzle the frosting over warm rolls before serving.
