  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by dissolving yeast in warm milk and letting it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). In a large bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  2. Prepare the filling by mixing diced peaches with brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the peach filling evenly over the dough, roll tightly from one end to another, and cut into 12 equal slices. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While baking, prepare the frosting by beating together cream cheese and softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Once baked, drizzle the frosting over warm rolls before serving.
