  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup apple juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a greased and parchment-lined loaf pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, alternating with orange juice until just combined.
  6. Fold in the mixed dried fruits and chopped nuts evenly.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
  8. Bake for 60–75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
