  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey or chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to coat the meat evenly.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, green chilies (if using), black beans, and chicken broth; stir well.
