Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 pound bowtie pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces Velveeta cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and seasonings; cook until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to low, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté briefly. Stir in cheeses and cream until melted and smooth.
- Combine the pasta with the sauce and toss well to coat.
