- 4 burger buns

Instructions
- Drain and rinse black beans until water runs clear.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions in oil for about 3 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans gently using a fork. Mix in sautéed onions and garlic until evenly distributed.
- Stir in breadcrumbs, egg (or flaxseed meal), spices, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Ensure they are compact to maintain their shape during cooking.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
