Ingredients
- 32 oz ricotta cheese
- 12 oz gluten-free penne
- 48 oz marinara sauce
- 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Spray the slow cooker insert with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, eggs, parmesan, salt, basil, and pepper until smooth.
- Layer marinara sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add gluten-free penne as the next layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of ricotta mixture over the pasta.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Finish with a final layer of marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Cover and cook on high for approximately 2.5 hours or until bubbly.
- Let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
