  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and pour in heavy cream and milk. Stir until warm.
  5. Add Velveeta cheese cubes, mixing until melted. Then incorporate Parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  6. Toss in the cooked penne followed by the beef mixture until well combined.
  7. Serve hot with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
