Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1¾ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup warm whole milk
- 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp Italian herb blend
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve pasta water and drain.
- Season chicken strips with salt, pepper, herbs, and grated Parmesan.
- Sear seasoned chicken in olive oil and butter until golden brown; remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in remaining butter before adding heavy cream and warm milk; simmer until thickened.
- Stir in cornstarch mixture, then gradually add cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
- Fold in sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
