- 2¼ lbs sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tbsp butter
- 2¼ tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1½ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 18 oz rigatoni pasta
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2¼ cups heavy cream
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1⅞ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
- Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet; sear steak until browned on both sides. Remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
- Incorporate Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses into the sauce; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Combine rigatoni and steak with the sauce; heat through for 2–3 minutes before serving.
