- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 ripe bananas
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (113g) butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
- 2 cups (256g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add an egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Incorporate 1 tablespoon of flour gradually until blended; set aside.
- In another bowl, mash ripe bananas. Stir in melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder; add to banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan; layer with cream cheese mixture, topping with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean with moist crumbs attached.
