  • Blue gel food coloring
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until foamy (5 minutes).
  2. Stir in sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until mixed.
  3. Add flour and salt; mix to form a soft dough.
  4. Knead on a floured surface until smooth; add blue food coloring while kneading.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (1 to 1½ hours).
  6. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and chocolate chips in another bowl.
  7. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly over it.
  8. Roll up tightly from one long edge; cut into 12 rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise again (30–45 minutes).
  10. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. For icing, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla while adjusting consistency with milk.
  12. Drizzle icing over warm rolls and top with crushed cookies.
