Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray an 8 ½ x 4 ½-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, blend milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for about 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to parchment paper.
  8. Brush warm bread with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
