- 1½ lbs sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1¼ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and butter.
- Once hot, add the steak tips seasoned with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the steak tips until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
- Add rigatoni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- In the same pot used for pasta, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Stir in heavy cream and whole milk; bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese until fully melted.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring until smooth.
- Fold in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.
- Add cooked rigatoni back into the pot with the cheesy sauce.
- Gently fold in seared steak tips until well combined.
- Adjust seasoning if needed before serving hot.
