Cheesy Rigatoni with Steak Tips is a comforting and indulgent dish that combines tender steak tips, creamy cheeses, and perfectly cooked rigatoni. This easy-to-make pasta dish is perfect for family dinners or special occasions, delivering rich flavors that will have everyone returning for seconds.

Ingredients

  • lbs sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1¼ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and butter.
  2. Once hot, add the steak tips seasoned with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Sear the steak tips until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
  5. Add rigatoni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  7. In the same pot used for pasta, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  8. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  9. Stir in heavy cream and whole milk; bring to a simmer.
  10. Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese until fully melted.
  11. Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring until smooth.
  12. Fold in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.
  13. Add cooked rigatoni back into the pot with the cheesy sauce.
  14. Gently fold in seared steak tips until well combined.
  15. Adjust seasoning if needed before serving hot.
