- 1 lb linguine pasta
- 2 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
Instructions
- Cook linguine in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat oil and butter, then sear steak until browned; remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add flour and remaining Cajun seasoning; stir for one minute.
- Whisk in heavy cream and beef broth; simmer until thickened.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add cheddar and Parmesan.
- Return steak and linguine to the skillet; toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper; garnish with green onions or parsley.
