Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 yellow onion (chopped)
- 1 bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 small head of cabbage (cored & chopped)
- 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp creole seasoning
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, and seasonings. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once vegetables are tender, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot alone or with rice as desired.
