- 12 tablespoons butter
- 6 medium lobster tails
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Parsley and lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the lobster tails by cutting through the top shell with kitchen scissors without cutting all the way through.
- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic; stir until fragrant.
- Submerge the lobster tails in the melted butter and poach for about 8–10 minutes until opaque.
- Season with kosher salt and black pepper, allowing flavors to absorb for an additional minute.
- Carefully remove the lobster tails with a slotted spoon, arrange on plates, and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
