  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine warmed milk, water, and sugar in a bowl; stir until dissolved. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until foamy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, flour, and salt until combined. Knead dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth; let rise until doubled in size.
  3. Cook blueberries with sugar, cornstarch mixed with water, lemon juice, and salt until thickened.
  4. Roll out dough into small squares and dip in melted butter before layering in a loaf pan with remaining blueberries.
  5. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon; pour over the layered dough.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and let the assembled bread rest before baking for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
