Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease an 8.5×4.5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas with melted butter. Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla until well mixed.
- Sprinkle baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt over the mixture; stir gently until combined.
- Add flour and walnuts or chocolate chips; mix until no streaks of flour remain—do not overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
