Ingredients
- 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries. Spread this fruit mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cake mix over the fruit layer without stirring.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with whipped cream and garnished with additional fruit and nuts.
