- 1 box Yellow or Spice Cake Mix (15.25 oz)
- 1 cup apple cider
- ½ cup apple sauce
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- ¼ tsp cinnamon (or more to taste)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon (for topping)
- ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
- ¼ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, apple cider, apple sauce, and eggs. Beat until well mixed.
- Add cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Grease and flour a bundt pan thoroughly before pouring in the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cooling for about 20 minutes on a wire rack.
- For the topping, mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Brush melted butter over the cooled cake and coat with cinnamon sugar mixture.
