Instructions
- If using unpeeled garlic cloves, peel them first.
- Cut the garlic in half lengthwise and remove any green germ to avoid bitterness.
- In a tall jug or jar, combine the garlic cloves, lemon juice, and salt. Blend with an immersion blender until it forms a paste.
- While blending, gradually add in the vegetable oil until fully emulsified and creamy.
- Transfer the toum to an airtight mason jar and store in the fridge.
